The story so far…
I have been looking at how I used to teach (when my pupils achieved impressive results)1 and how I teach now. I don’t think I am doing anything particularly impressive now, but I still think it’s worth reflecting on what I do.
In Part 1, I described the context in which I teach.
I teach part-time and don’t have my own classroom.
My school has policies which dictate many lesson features and routines.
As part of those policies, all lessons are based around workbooks.
I also described the start of my lessons.
In Part 2, I described what I do up until the end of taking the register.
